Positive: The host was very polite and kind. The check-in process was smooth, and the communication was good.
Negative: The house is very old and doesn’t feel cozy or comfortable. There is no real internet – the Wi-Fi network exists, but it doesn’t work at all, and there is no mobile reception either. That was a major disappointment. Also, the house is very damp and cold, even in the summer. This kind of humidity might be common in rural France, but it’s quite unusual and uncomfortable for people used to Scandinavian standards of indoor warmth.
